B20 was present at the 2nd Argentine-German Economic Forum on August 28th
B20 Chair Daniel Funes de Rioja participated in the 2nd Argentine-German Economic Forum at the Usina del Arte in Buenos Aires. The meeting was organized by the German-Argentinian Chamber of Industry & Commerce (AHK) and partnered by B20, Bosch Argentina, Volkswagen Group Argentina, the German Embassy of Buenos Aires, Hamburg Sud, Merck and Messe Frankfurt, among others.
Present at the meeting were Luis Miguel Etchevehere (Minister of Agroindustry of Argentina), Guillermo Brinkmann (AHK Argentina President), Roland Zey (Mercedes Benz Argentina President), Miguel Acevedo (President of the Industrial Chamber of Argentina), Pablo Di Si (Digital Economy & Industry 4.0 Co-Chair and President & CEO, South America, Central America and Caribbean Region at Volkswagen), among others.
The Forum focused on the international economic scenario and the current opportunities and challenges for the Argentine industry with a focus on technological innovation and digitalization.
“Change, speed, innovation and anticipation are four keys to define our position regarding the development of digital economy. Digitalization is essential, it is a challenge that must be overcome with education. In order to enable a digital environment, governments have to promote global connectivity & infrastructure development,” said Daniel Funes de Rioja.
