B20 and YPF hosted the ERES Task Force meeting at the Alvear Icon Hotel on March 27th.
The ERES Task Force meeting held in Buenos Aires on March 27th, hosted by B20 and YPF, gathered business leaders and government representatives to discuss the definition of policies for economic sustainability and to move forward with the climate adaptation agenda.
Guided by the sustainable development goals established by the United Nations, world business leaders and government representatives debated on resource efficiency and climate adaptation.
“Every country has a different starting point and path to travel. For Argentina, natural gas is a priority to transition towards a cleaner future” said Minister of Energy and Mining Juan José Aranguren
The event was opened by B20 Chair Daniel Funes de Rioja and ERES Chair and YPF CEO Miguel Gutiérrez and included the participation of ERES Deputy Chair Sebastián Mocorrea, ERES Co-Chair and Pan American CEO Marcos Bulgheroni, Pampa Energía CEO Marcelo Mindlin, Shell CEO Teófilo Lacroze, BASF South American Director Bert Neumeier, Iberdrola International Relations Director José Gasset and CGC President Hugo Eurnekian. Minister of Energy and Mining and G20 Energy Chair Juan José Aranguren and Secretary of Coordination of Energy Planning Daniel Redondo joined the group for lunch.
